Description

We are currently seeking an experienced LV–HV Technician / Electrician with strong expertise in low and high-voltage installation, service, and maintenance—particularly across power factor correction systems, active harmonic filter units, and air circuit breakers to join our growing team.

Based in our Noble Park office, you will work closely with the Manager and clients, taking ownership of site activities and ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are consistently met or exceeded.

About the role:

In this role, you will be performing a variety of tasks such as installation, maintenance and troubleshooting while ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. 

  • Conducting LV and HV testing, maintaining plant, tools, and electrical equipment 
  • Installing, monitoring, and maintaining LV and HV electrical systems while identifying and correcting hazards 
  • Repairing, testing, and troubleshooting HV, MV, and LV electrical circuits 
  • Inspecting and diagnosing complex electrical systems, including relay calibration and power metering 
  • Reading, interpreting, and updating electrical schematics, panel schedules, and control drawings 
  • Ensuring compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and company procedures 
  • Communicating with customers, contractors, and suppliers to maintain service and safety standards 
  • Reporting incidents, accidents, and property damage promptly 
  • Documenting maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades accurately 
  • Maintaining tools and equipment while supporting continuous safety and environmental improvements 
  • Travelling to remote sites to perform LV and HV installation, maintenance, and testing activities 
     


Skills And Experiences

About You:

  • Qualifications in Electrical, instrumentation, or Electronics desirable but not essential
  • Current Victorian A-Grade Electrical Licence 
  • Valid driver’s licence (minimum P Plates) 
  • Familiarity with IT systems and standard office or technical software applications
  • Proven experience working with HV apparatus in the electrical field 
  • Strong background in LV/HV switchgear, transformers, and HV testing and maintenance 
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics confidently 
  • Ability to work autonomously and take full ownership of site work 
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high standards of work 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
