Cost Accountant / Cost Analyst
Objective
The cost analyst is responsible for comparing actual cost to standard cost and identifying and explaining variance by customer, part number, and production jobs.
Role and Responsibilities:
Ensure integrity of inventory cost and valuation by:

- Making sure timely and accuracy of inventory transactions from inventory receipt, inventory usage, and finished goods shipment.
- Conduct inventory cycle count programs for all locations.
- Working with purchasing to ensure inventory costs on purchase orders.
Perform work orders review:

- Identify variance and the root cause.
- Ensure inventory and labor transactions are processed timely and accurately.
- Prepare, analyze and report monthly gross margin analysis.
- Responsible for account reconciliation of physical inventories and cycle counts.
- Responsible for reporting on labor productivity and efficiency for all locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost and inventory analysis, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and costing principles.
- Experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel.
- Bilingual: English and Spanish.
Work schedule
Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Located at Parque Industrial "Valle del Sur".
