This is an opportunity to join a nationally recognised retail operator delivering a major multi-site rollout program across Australia.
With a strong national footprint and a reputation for operational excellence, this organisation is introducing a new in-store concept across more than 150 locations, with further expansion planned. To support this initiative, they are seeking experienced Project Managers to coordinate and deliver a high-volume fitout program across existing, new and flagship sites.
This role will suit someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys managing multiple concurrent sites, and wants exposure to a structured national rollout within a well-established brand.
As Project Manager, you’ll sit within the Construction & Property function and take responsibility for coordinating a national multi-site fitout program.
Reporting to an experienced Construction Manager, you’ll manage site audits, scopes of work, tender processes, contractor coordination and program tracking — ensuring each installation is delivered safely, on time and within budget.
This is an 18-month contract position with potential longer-term opportunities.
Conduct site audits to assess compliance and installation requirements
Prepare detailed scopes of work and documentation
Manage tender processes, evaluate submissions and issue work orders
Develop and maintain project schedules across multiple concurrent sites
Coordinate contractors, site teams and internal stakeholders
Track budgets, milestones and progress reporting
Maintain accurate project documentation and records
Ensure all installations meet brand and quality standards
Promote strong safety leadership and zero-incident outcomes
Monitor costs and proactively manage budget performance
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
The rollout will be delivered in multiple formats, including:
Menu-layer upgrades within existing sites
Destination-style installations within flagship locations
Free-standing kiosk formats within shopping centres
Interstate travel will be required to support delivery across the national network.
You are an organised, solutions-focused project professional who is comfortable managing multiple moving parts. You communicate confidently with contractors and stakeholders and remain calm under pressure.
You will demonstrate:
2+ years’ experience in construction project management (fitout or multi-site programs highly regarded)
Strong scheduling, budgeting and coordination capability
Ability to read and interpret basic plans and take accurate site measurements
Solid computer skills (Excel, Word and project tracking tools)
Experience working in live operational environments (retail or hospitality advantageous)
A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
Tertiary qualifications in Design, Construction or Project Management are desirable but not essential.
